A few steps from the Baguio City Hall, the Rizal Park and Burnham Park is a rustic and homey restaurant frequented by locals and tourists alike. Its interiors are festooned with paintings and crafts, adding to its charm. The smell of freshly baked breads and pastries fills the air. This is Café by the Ruins and this is perhaps the best place to have an authentic Filipino breakfast (7:00 am to 11:00 am) for miles around.
We suggest you try their Queso de Bola Ensaymada dipped in Rizal’s Tsokolate-e thickened with carabao’s milk. You can also pair this with dilis topped champorado. If you want a stronger drink, they serve the priced alamid coffee here. Try their signature basil bread also.
