Perched on top of a hill with a splendid view of the valley and the mountains beyond is the BenCab Museum, a must see for art lovers when you visit Baguio. This is the repository of national artists Benedicto Cabrera’s work as well as pieces handed out to him by fellow artists. The gallery filled with nude paintings is a crowd favourite.
One of the gallery’s best kept secret is Café Sabel, named after BenCab’s muse. It is located on the lower floor and it gives you the option to dine al fresco. The spicy tuyo pasta garnished with fresh herbs from the garden is quite popular as well as the different rice cakes.
